Information You Send
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies those results; our servers do not retain a copy of the search. A message sent to us contains the information in that message and is used to answer the request.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most hosted services, the site receives routine server-log information such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Aggregated log information helps maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or related tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Limited Data Is Used
Limited data is used to operate and secure the service, diagnose issues, measure traffic, and improve the reference pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process the server logs needed to run the service. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. Information is otherwise disclosed only when valid legal process requires it.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on location and statutory scope, visitors may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. New Jersey's Data Privacy Act, P.L. 2023, c. 266, codified at N.J.S.A. 56:8-166.4 et seq., provides rights for personal data held by covered businesses, subject to its terms and exemptions. Because this service holds very little visitor data, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and available logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Public records held by New Jersey, Monmouth County, or Middletown custodians are outside our control and must be addressed to the relevant custodian.
